Road meetings

Talking about meetings!
Today, we had a discussion about the construction of new road infrastrucutre into Norway. It is very possible to do things here, provided one really tries. Sweden is strange in this way. The country is extremily successful, but the same social structures that contributed to the past success, seem to be outdated today. Response time from the system for new projects/ideas is too long. In addition, there is too much of an attitude of "not rocking the boat". Innovation environment becomes difficult in this case. To do something new and introduce it in a system means to do what was not done before before. Swedes have to adjust. The Swedish culture is a minority culture in Europe (and certainly in the world) and they make a 100% effort at been accepted, though not always with success. Tha mazing is the great success of Swedish music. It is Swedens's post year 2000 road into the future.
Three things I succeed in checking: The road project, the possibiltiy of setting up a regional energy agency, and the funding to interest young people in science.
At the same time, there is too much to do in other fronts. I wonder if I will make it. If I alone do what I need to under January, it will be a 7 days a week, 17 hours a day job.

Reading of the day: Schoonhoven - The entrepreneurship dynamic (2001)

I will try to have a word about it next time.

I have been able to communicate with Gabriel over the wire today. I hope to be able to do this often. It is important, at least to me.

On monday poems will start to appear here. I have to check on the copyright issues first. But I got my links in order, to the left of the page.
Great new year to all!
