Tomorrow is a distant world
As foreign as yesterday
Predictable as today
Was yesterday
Tomorrow is a foreign culture
As distant as yesterday
Remembered not as it was
Remembered as one can remember
Selected bits
Patched out as life it allows
Tomorrow will be patched too
Becoming not what is
But what the future today
Will see
As the yesterday tomorrow
