Have you seen
The small apples
Untouched, untained
In the hidden apple tree
Behind the books
Watching the magazines
Waiting for children
Who have not yet discovered
And should not discover yet
The sour sweet taste
Of the little apple tree fruits
Hidden by the books
Smiling at
The unexpected bystanders
Who also have
A sweet bitter
Life to live
