A Song for Gaia
What do you think
It would happen?
Acting surprised
With diseases and bad weather
Shades of apocalyptic times
As you were a victim
Nothing to blame.

You have driven this planet
Once beautiful and blue
Two steps near hell
A planet you have ravaged
Damaged
Seas hurt
Forests destroyed
Animals extinguished
As for your actions
The planet is sick
The skies are grey
Diseased.

Beware
Gaia is alive
If you do not respect Mother Earth
Her immune system can, and will, react
Treating you as the plague
To be contained
To be forced to understand:
There are no ways
If you are to live
In and with
The future of this
Planet’s life
No way
But Harmony

Otherwise
Pandemics and storms
Will rage upon you
Until you find
The ways of respect
For Gaia is you
For Gaia is us
To treasure
To protect
Gaia is our happiness
Our life.
